Here's a nice blast from the past. Telephone clubs were a big deal in urban Japan, especially back in the 80's and 90's, prior to the Internet and chat rooms. People would pay a small fee to simply talk to other people on the phone. Typically women would put out the call and they'd be paired with random men in a connecting club. credit cards with benefits
